In these grand festival of Golden Jubilee of Gujarat, I am experiencing that the state is being depicted in the bright Rainbow colours. The atmosphere is filled with fervor and zeal.

In the 8th century, Siddharaj Jaisinh accorded highest prestige to knowledge by taking out ceremonial book procession, keeping "Siddham Shabdanushasan" the book created by his Holiness Shri Hemchandracharya in the decorated seat on an elephant.

As follower of that tradition we strive to keep up our pledge of making books reach every home and of making each Gujarati read, think and develop.

In this great 'Yagna' of knowledge, I appeal people of Gujarat to contribute (make offerings) and request young friends to donate time. The children of every house hold unit of Gujarat inculcate habit of reading and they shape their lives are our noble ambitions.

The people of Gujarat is committed to make Gujarat Grand and Divine. In this Herculean task of taking Gujarat to highest summits of abundance of thoughts, value based culture and knowledge, I request your ___________ cooperation.
